Objective:
To plan and execute the grand launch of Birla Opus’s state-of-the-art paints manufacturing plant at Chamarajanagar, highlighting the brand’s innovation, sustainability, and industry leadership while engaging over 300 partners and stakeholders.
Challenges:
- Only 4 days to execute a large-scale event.
- Remote location: Chamarajanagar, 5 hours from Bangalore and 2 hours from Mysore.
- High-security protocols due to the factory’s operational status.
- Unpredictable weather conditions: wind and rain in an open-space venue.
Approach:
- Constructed two custom hangers: a 550-seater event hanger and an 800-capacity lunch area.
- Streamlined guest flow with branded pathways, registration desks, and comprehensive directional signages.
- Organized a guided plant tour with pavilion displays showcasing product innovations.
- Integrated R&R sessions, interactive AVs, and photo ops with the Chairman to enhance engagement.
- Adapted infrastructure and operations to withstand challenging weather conditions.
Outcome:
The event was a resounding success, effectively engaging over 400 partners and 250 employees, showcasing Birla Opus’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. It strengthened the brand’s association with stakeholders and received widespread positive feedback from attendees.
